It serves many functions in the body, like maintaining optimal bone and muscle health, and it’s also been shown to have favorable effects on inflammation. Here are some other ways that Vitamin D protects us:

Using a 1⁄2” or 5/8” needle, inject your prescribed dosage once or twice a week. The best areas to inject are the shoulder, thigh, or upper/outer glute (butt cheek).

Dosages are usually either 25,000 iu to 100,000 iu per week, although your doctor may discuss an alternative protocol based upon your blood work.
